DAY 1: FOUM ZGUID TO ERG CHEGAGA Desert
Depart by 4x4 at 2:00pm towards Erg Chegaga, the largest sand dune in Morocco. We will reach the desert of Lake Iriki, located between Wadi Draa and the southern fall of Anti-Atlas. On rare rainy days, it is home to many migratory birds. You will have the opportunity to search and collect some fossils, then continue to the vast Chegaga sand dunes. Can't miss the sunset over the dunes and dinner around the Tamarisk wood fire. The night will be magical. You can sleep under the stars or in a nomad tent, it's your choice!
DAY 2: FROM BIVOUAC CHEGAGA BACK TO FOUM ZGUID THROUGH IRIKI Lake
After watching the sunrise over the amazing desert dunes of Erg Chegaga and after enjoying a traditional breakfast, your driver and guide will be ready to start the second day of your desert tour. You will enjoy driving in the sand in the middle of the dunes of Lake Iriki. You will also visit the nomadic school on your way back to the Foum Zguid. After visiting the nomad school, we will have a cup of tea with the nomads of iriki lake on the terrace of titanic restaurant in the middle of iriki lake. Then we will continue the zguid foum.
